Founded in 2014 by Dutch native Maria Barkman, Sydney Oyster Girls has become Sydney’s go-to service for luxury oyster catering.

Starting as a small, dedicated team, we've shucked our way through Sydney's most prestigious events, earning a reputation for excellence and innovation.

Fast forward 10 years to 2024, Sydney Oyster Girls welcomed a new chapter in its story. Jasmine Kroon, whose own Dutch heritage echoes the roots of this beloved brand, joined as co-owner. Jasmine’s grandparents, like Maria, hailed from the Netherlands, bringing a rich cultural connection and a shared appreciation for fine seafood.

In partnership with leading staffing supplier Clifford Wallace, we’ve combined the finest oysters with exceptional service to create memorable experiences at every event.
